Blackheath Lawn Tennis Club has existed since 1885 and is a thriving and successful club situated within Rectory Fields and is part of the Blackheath Sports Club incorporating tennis, rugby, squash and cricket.
The club has 7 floodlit all weather courts, 4 are porous acrylic and 3 are artificial clay. In addition we have 4 grass courts which are available between May and September.
The club facilities include a courtside pavilion and the main clubhouse bar which is open every weekday evening and from 12.00 at weekends.
Social Play
Club sessions for all peak, over 60’s, students and adult members are on Wednesdays 18.00 – 22.00 and Sundays from 14.00 – 18.00. These allow individuals to mix in and play doubles which are changed after each short set.
Junior Club Sessions
Friday evening is our junior social from 4-5pm (Mini Red) and 5-6pm (Mini Orange & Green). All participants in the clubs coaching programme are invited to attend these social sessions free of charge which is supervised by one of our coaches.
